Starting 1 year before a Grad Plans catalog year will expire, there will be a warning message displayed in the alert section. That warning message will stay until the catalog expires or changes to a newer year. It is only a warning and won’t block any features of the plan.

You cannot plan courses or add new academic years to a plan past when the catalog year expires. If you try and add an additional year you will see this error.

- On a Grad Plan, you will see a message in the first expired semester that explains why courses cannot be planned and provides information to contact Advising.

- Any plan at the time of the IPlan release (8/18/2021) that has courses planned in an expired year will have all of those courses moved to the last viable semester of their plan.
